This year's MedConf, the conference for software and device development in medical technology, will take place from 10-12 May.

ZEISS Digital Innovation is represented in the conference program with a booth on site and several presentations.

On the first day of the conference (Tues., 4:45 p.m.), Katharina Warak and Julian Massing discuss the benefits of automated testing in medical technology in their presentation "Test automation in medical technology - only suitable for experts?". Using a specific project example, they share the insights they gained when creating a completely new automation framework for a medical device.

The next day (Wed, 2:15 p.m.), Leo Lindhorst reports on his experiences in creating a cloud-based medical product in his talk "Preparing and postponing cataract surgery in the cloud." He will also address how we deal with challenges such as data protection and the strict regulations while at the same time using an agile methodology.

The presentation "Processing medical data securely in the cloud" held by Martin Nuss (Wed, 12:00 noon) will conclude with a discussion on the challenges of designing secure system environments for processing medical data. He will show how we ensure high security in our projects.

We are looking forward to three interesting conference days combined with exciting networking at MedConf 2022!
